If you are here you have an interest in “I want to know Jesus” as your personal Savior.
We are saved by Grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone – there is no other way for salvation but through Jesus Christ. John 14:6 “Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” We are not saved by anything we do or works – but by His Grace through faith in Jesus.
The good news is John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” and Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
The plan of salvation is clear – we must first acknowledge that we have all sinned and have fallen short of what He has intended for us. Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
We were all created to worship and love God with all our heart. But when Adam and Eve sinned, sin entered the world. Romans 5:12 “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned-“ – we are born with a sin nature and separated from God.
Because of our sin we deserve to be eternally separated from God. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Without Jesus sacrificing His for us, our just payment will be an eternal death. God demonstrated His love for us by sending His son to die for us. 2nd Corinthians 5:21 “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
How do I receive God’s gift of Salvation?
Romans 10:9-10 “9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”
Romans 10:13 “for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.””
Do you acknowledge that you are sinner?
Have you confessed with your mouth and believed in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord?
Here is a prayer you can pray –
Heavenly Father –
I come to you today to acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ died for me and was raised from the dead that I may have forgiveness for my sins. Today I put my faith and trust in Him for my salvation. I ask that you forgive me for my sins and come into my life. I want to live my life for You and not unto myself.
Thank You Jesus for saving me.
– Amen
